Our Special care Pup

Sadie

Sadie is boarding with us while her Mom and Dad are on a trip.

Sadie has been coming to us since 2005, we feel like she is part of the family.

Sadie has to have a injection twice a day for diabetes,

we call her our "Special Care Pup"

Here are a few pictures to show Y'all how easy it is

to give her the injection.

Here is the shot and insulin, we have stored the insulin in the refrigerator.

You have to shake the bottle to warm it up a bit before injecting.

This is me giving Sadie her shot, she is so good for her injection. All you have to do is pull some skin up between the shoulders, and in the injection goes. She gets 5cc, twice a day.

When were done Sadie gets a big hug and treat before she goes back to daycare

or gets tucked in for bed, depending if it's her morning or evening injection.

she has a sweet little quilt she sleeps on that her Mom made her.
